We British live up to our image, we are always moaning about the weather! I moan as much as everyone else, but I don't think we have it that bad compared with many other countries. We have occasional floods and the weather can be a bit unpredictable, but we don't have the extremes of temperature that some people have to put up with, and we don't have to fear typhoons and earthquakes and things like that (fingers crossed). Our climate may not be perfect, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

How long is your winter there in England? IN Va we have 9 months of warm , and 3 months of cold winter. It only gets snow occasionally in VA. My winters in MN were 9 months freezing cold and continuous snow and winds. The summer in MN was 3 short months of warm. I remember one Halloween that had snow everywhere. In MN once the snow started it stayed for months. It seems like even here the winds are harder. We have the old people too who can't warm their houses. So our power company (who just raised our prices) gives us a letter that asks for donations for fuel for people.

Aww, well hopefully you get some great weather during the time you want it most then.

It has been really humid here in Ohio. I know I have not felt like doing much of anything. My son did have a riding lesson today though.
