It's too bad when our favourite gear gets a bit old and shabby; that means they were the most comfortable and useful. I always looked shabby coz I wouldn't part with my clothes. A grubby old pair of jeans, t-shirt and squawboots were my uniform.

Years ago jodhpurs were only available in that cream/oatmeal colour and it was impossible to keep them clean. I was delighted when they started to make navy jodhpurs, they are so much more practical.

Yeah cream jodhpurs they are like white they get dirty too quickly. When horse riding you really need to wear a dark colour so they don't get dirty as quickly or at least they don't look dirty. Cream jodhpurs lasted for a very short time before you had to throw them away or keep them for in doors only.

Without lowering the tone by going into too much detail, it is important to wear the right underwear. I certainly have my favourite garments, you don't want anything that will 'cut you in half' and you need a well fitting sports bra (if you are female!)

Now the right underwear isn't something I've noticed on the 'must have'
list, but I can certainly see your point!
