So what other pets does everyone have? We have a dog, cat, bird and fish. My hubby wants another dog but I have enough pets at the moment.

We are a family of misfits, Megan the border collie was rehomed by us when she was about a year old. She was a failed sheepdog - she is afraid of sheep! Oreo the cat came to us when a friends cat had an unplanned litter of kittens. George (also known as Dave) the cat came to us as a very poorly stray, but he is now much healthier and he seems very happy. Our other pet is shadow the guinea pig, she is a lovely pet, she is funny, brave and very vocal. She chases the cats and plays with the dog.

I forgot to mention the tortoises, my mum has two tortoises, they were my brother's pets when he was little. They must be at least 40 years old now. I babysit for them when my mum goes away. They are quite sweet really, but there is one problem – my dog loves rolling in tortoise poo!

I currently only have cats and a dog, but I've had a huge range of animals in the past.

Right now we don't have any other pets in our house. When we had our farm we had ponies, a cow, chickens, dog, and a barn cat. The chickens had their own coup. The horses had the pasture to run in. The cat loved to be in the barn with our cow. Mom Mom milked her every day and had a creaky milking stool she sat on. Our cat was orange and very sweet.

My hubby wanted to get some miniature goats but I had to put my foot down. We don't live in an area will these would be a good pet to have.
